A Journey Through the Elements

In this workshop we will learn the nature of the elements and how they connect to the Wheel of the Year (seasons), the phases of the moon, the directions and the signs of the Zodiac. We will explore the Goddesses associated with these times of year, craft an anointing oil and also learn how to set up an elemental altar and create sacred space so that you can start interacting with them in a tangible way supporting your path. 

There will be great emphasis on understanding your elemental nature when approaching things like your food, health, and herbs and knowing that there is no such thing as “one size fits all.” For true harmony to be experienced mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually we must first understand the elements and their interconnectedness to all things. Through a combination of ritual, discourse and practice we will leave with a greater understanding of how to achieve that harmony within.

About the instructor:

Danielle is a Mother, Wife, Yogini, Astrologer, Herbalist and Creatrix!  She has been a serious student of ancient yoga philosophies and Vedanta for 20yrs and is a certified yoga teacher for 13yrs, completing over 500hrs of training.  Her lineage is in the Dharma Mittra Hatha Raja Yoga Tradition. She is certified with the title Jyotish Ratna through ACVA and Ayurvedic Astrologer from the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She is also trained in Celtic Herbalism, Reiki and Ogham Tree Essence Therapy.  She is the co-founder of Lakshmi Hair Studio and Creatrix of Mothercraft Herbal products, an organic line of herbal remedies and skincare for women and little one’s, crafted with intention using Vedic Astrology and Ancient Celtic Moon Wisdom. www.mothercraftherbal.com

From an early age strong insights, mystical experiences and an inner knowing of the non physical aspects of reality fueled her studies and passions. Her desire to heal and grow spiritually and help others do the same is what motivates her. 

Danielle spends her time doing Herbal and Astrological consultations, crafting herbal remedies and teaching workshops weaving together the Ancient Celtic and Vedic teachings of Yoga, Astrology, Herbalism and Ritual.  She resides in Fishtown with her husband and two children.
