About the event
Happy Winter Solstice!
Take a moment out of the holiday busyness to share love, light and warmth with community and friends in this free, fun, quick drop in craft for adults and little ones!
In the midst of the darkness that is upon us in fall and winter, the winter solstice is a beatiful time to celebrate the light and warmth within us all that will be the guide through the rest of the darker time of the year. The solstice literally means "sun standing still" and the winter solstice marks the return of light, when darkness begins to shorten in our days and light slowly returns, eventually warming and awakening all of the root and seed babies that will bring us new plants and life in the spring.
Drop in any time in the day, and we will craft window stars or solstice suns, traditional Waldorf crafts, for the winter solstice time of the year. I will provide all the materials and some yummy tea. Just bring your unique self. With our head, heart, and hands, we will enjoy eachother's company and craft something beautiful to take home.
Registration is appreciated though not required, just so I know how many to expect.
