Early Childhood Herbal Support (1)

Raising little ones is such a magical gift; to again experience and be reminded of the joys, magic, and wonders of life through the eyes of a child.  It can also be stressful at times, navigating common colds and illness, developmental discomforts, supporting emotions, bumps and bruises, and lets not forget, raising children in the current era poses its own unique challenges.  There is a lot that herbs can offer small children, as children are exceptionally receptive to the healing benefits of plants.

Join me for a discussion and hands on workshop as we navigate herbal support in early childhood.   

Some common topics we will cover:

• Immune support
• Cold and Flu
• Teething
• Colic and upset tummies
• Emotional support
• Cradle Cap 
• Itchy skin
• Herbal first aid care

We will go over the basics of many herbal preparations, such as making an infused oil, basic essential oil use and safety, blending herbs for teas or infusions, making herbal syrups and honeys, etc.  We will enjoy the community of one another, sip tea, and taste various herbal preparations. 

Together we will prepare an herbal honey and tea blend to take home. (vegan or under age 1 alternatives available for the honey)

$35 educational investment and supply fee

**Infants and children under the age of 2 are welcome.  Children over age 2 are also welcome, bearing in mind that this is a 2.5 hour workshop**
