'Take A Breath' - A Guided Meditation
Time & Location
About the event
Join us for night of guided meditation for us to slow down the internal pace and return to our breath, our home within our being.
You dont have to pursue a meditation practice alone. Guided meditation is a wonderful way to allow you to be guided by someone else into a place of unity and stillness.
We will start with a gentle asana (physical) practice to prepare ourselves for our intentional breathing. Using specific pranayama (breathing techniques) designed to quiet and focus the mind, we will prepare and encourage the body and mind to be still to help us find our center. Once we have gotten a little centered, you will be lead through visualization prompts to allow you to sink deeper into a place of unity and internal peace.
"We are all just walking eachother home." - Ram Das
How can guided meditation help me?
- Guided meditation, or meditation in general, has shown to help people lower their stress levels, pain levels, decrease feelings of anger, increase a general sense of well being, and raise our level of optimism and feeling of connectedness.
