Plant medicine is the people's medicine, and everyone should have access to this knowledge and be able to learn how to confidently incorporate it into their lives. Join me in this hands on tincture making workshop.

About the event
Tincture Making 101
Curious about making your own herbal remedies at home? Join me in this herbal medicine making workshop on tincture making!
We will gather and work together, learning how to prepare, extract and use tinctures. We will work with fresh organic plant materials, and will discuss proper identification, and the function and use of the ally we are working with.
I will provide:
- the plants
- extraction liquid for tincturing (**this will be organic cane alcohol, unless an alcohol-free option is requested atleast 2-3 days prior to the event**)
- 4 oz jar and 1 oz dispensing bottle
Please bring:
~ a pair of scissors and something comfortable to sit on.
Location:
We intend to meet at the apothecary, but if attendance exceeds or limits, or the weather is on our side, we will gather at a local outdoor location to be disclosed 48 hours prior to the event. It will either be the Open Kitchen Community Sculpture Garden or Penn Treaty Park if we meet outside. Otherwise please plan to meet at Transcending Roots. Please keep an eye out for an email regarding this information.
