As we approach Philadelphia beginning to enter the "yellow phase" of reopening, I wanted to share our plan with you going forward. Due to the closer of school systems, loss of work, and lack of available childcare, we will have inconsistent open hours, but will continue to remain available every day for preorder scheduled pickup, delivery and shipment.
I will update hours on a weekly basis on the main page of our website and via social media, so please check there.
I am still working to get more items on the apothecary website, so please email me if there is something you are looking for that is not on the website yet. With both children home now for an extended summer, I am having to navigate store hours around being available for them as well as to the community. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult transition and we hope to resume normal hours in the near future. We will continue to be available 7 days a week for scheduled pickups or local deliveries and shipment.
Beginning at the END OF JUNE, we hope to have more consistent weekly hours, two to three days a week that we will be in the apothecary if you want to come by to pick up something outside of preordered pickups. We will update as it gets closer and we have a better idea of what this will look like. We are hoping to begin these open hours, (in addition to the 7 days a week pickup and delivery), on June 25th, but we will update on social media if we have any dates open sooner. Policies: Upon reopening, we will follow protocols recommended by the CDC for community safety. We will have to require patrons entering the apothecary to have masks on, and limit to 2-4 patrons in the apothecary at a time. Additionally, we would like to request that you ask for help with any items and we will gladly get them for you. Hopefully, we will begin to resume normal operations with less restrictive measures in the near future. Additionally, we are hoping to restart our workshops in the coming months in an in-person social distanced format. We did a few zoom workshops, and while we had an overwhelmingly positive response from them, I do not like the disconnection that they create and the inability to work with the plant allies we are discussing. The summer months provide us prime time to be able to work with fresh plant allies right now, so I am planning to begin to offer social distanced workshops in local parks to be able to navigate this new challenge.
So much gratitude for the support everyone has shown us through all this. Please continue the support and sharing about our space so we can hopefully remain here to continue to bring these allies to the community.
