Where Phytochemistry Meets Gaia
Sometimes as herbalists we can compartmentalize our approach to plant medicine: a science-based approach, or a tradition / Earth-based approach. But we live in one single reality, and these are just different languages to describe that reality. The real wonder begins where they complement and synergize with each other.
We’ll deconstruct the artificial wall between science-based and energetic or traditional approaches to herbalism, reframing them as two contrasting languages describing a single Gaia.
Burnout Recovery Herbs
We are living in a time of relentless stimulation and uncertainty. Between political tension, economic pressures, nonstop screen exposure, social expectations, and the demands of parenting and daily life, many of us are running on empty. Burnout has become a shared cultural experience. Our nervous systems were never designed for the pace and intensity of modern life, and the body eventually asks us to slow down.
While many people turn to cannabis for relief, this class introduces additional or alternative herbal allies that can support stress recovery, nervous system repair, and long-term resilience.
In this class, we’ll explore how plant medicine can support recovery from burnout and help rebuild resilience in the face of chronic stress.

Harvest Fest
October 10-11th | Stockbridge MA
Join us and almost 100 vendors at the oldest fall celebration in the Berkshires!
The two-day celebration brings together families, artists, farmers, gardeners, musicians and community members for a weekend honoring the Berkshires’ agricultural heritage and the beauty of the natural world.Admission is free for children under 12.
Families can enjoy a full slate of activities throughout the weekend, including pony rides, a haunted house, hay maze and hay jump, face painting, hayrides, a petting zoo, square dancing and more.

Philly! 🌀 I am so excited to come home and gather with you November 14th at @wake.collective and bring you an introduction to Reading the Body; a very special teaching circle, reconnecting you to the ancestral lens through which the body has been viewed for centuries in traditions around the world.
We’ll explore facial coloration, lines and markings, hands, nails, tongue, constitutional patterns, and more, and begin to look at the body through a different lens.
We’ll learn through observation, conversation, and hands-on practice together.
No previous herbalism or clinical experience is required. If you have a body, you already have a place in this conversation.
