FAQs

  • Yes! Everything we make is made by hand, and made in small batch quantities of no more than a gallon or two! Many, depending on the plant, its availability and sustainability are made in quantities as low as 4 to 8 oz.

We take great pride in the quality of the remedies we make, and ensuring that we are maintaining a healthy relationship with the ecosystems around us.

  • We grow organically everything that we can here on our land in Western Massachusetts! What we can not grow here, we source our herbs from local and regional organic small farms.

  • Most orders ship within 1–2 business days, via UPS or USPS Priority, and we do our best to send them out as promptly as possible. As a one-woman operation and mother, I honor my family time by not shipping on weekends.

If I’m traveling or attending an event, there may occasionally be a slight delay. In those cases, I’ll communicate this clearly through a website pop-up or email notification so you always know what to expect.

Thank you for your patience and understanding — every order is packed with care and intention before it heads your way.

  • At Transcending Roots, each offering is crafted in small batches with care, intention, and a commitment to the highest quality. Due to the consumable and handcrafted nature of our products, all sales are final and we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

That said, your experience matters deeply to us. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as expected, please reach out within 7 days of delivery at hello@transcendingroots.com with your order details and a photo if applicable. We’ll gladly do what we can to make it right — whether that means a replacement, credit, or another form of resolution.

Our intention is that every remedy and creation that leaves our apothecary arrives safely and in alignment with the integrity and magic it was made with.

  • At this time, all of our offerings are held in person. We believe there’s a depth of connection and understanding in herbalism that simply can’t be transmitted through a screen — it’s something best felt, touched, and experienced in real time with the plants and one another.

That said, due to growing interest in online learning, we’re thoughtfully exploring ways to responsibly share select teachings through downloadable or virtual formats. We hope to offer these in the near future.
