August - Seasonal Immersion Day

from $77.00

AUGUST 14 OR 15, 2027 | THE FIRST HARVEST

Date will be confirmed by Winter 2027

Lammas, The First Harvest & the Medicines of Late Summer

As summer begins its gradual transition, we enter a season of gathering and preservation. We crossed the Lammas threshold at the beginning August - the landscape is changing, seeds are forming, and many plants are offering their medicines in ways that will not last much longer.

In this immersion, we harvesting with intention, recognizing the appropriate time to gather, and preserving the gifts of the season for the months ahead. Depending on what the land offers, we may work with tinctures, oils, vinegars, dried herbs, or other preparations while exploring the traditions and practical knowledge behind our medicine making.

We will also consider the ethics of harvesting, reciprocity, and our responsibilities to the plants and places that sustain us.

A day for cultivating practical skills, honoring the abundance around us, and remembering that gathering medicine is an act of relationship as much as it is an act of preparation.

A Note on Our Gatherings

Each Seasonal Immersion Day is shaped by the land, the plants, and the season we are moving through. The description above offers a sense of our seasonal themes rather than a fixed curriculum. Specific plants, harvesting opportunities, and medicine-making projects will vary with the conditions of the land and what is ready to be worked with that day.

All experience levels are welcome. Come with a willingness to learn, work with your hands, and enter into relationship with the plants and the living world around you.
