Plant Allies, Medicine Making & the Art of Relationship
High summer invites us into a deeper relationship with the living landscape. The gardens are growing, the meadows are changing by the day, and the plants are offering us opportunities to learn through observation, harvesting, and practice.
Together, we will meet the plants where they are in their seasonal cycle, explore identification and wild tending, and work with the medicines that are ready to be gathered and prepared. We may craft tinctures, infused oils, hydrosols, flower essences, or other seasonal remedies while exploring the traditional wisdom and contemporary herbal knowledge that inform our work.
This is an opportunity to move beyond learning about plants and into learning with them: developing our observational skills, engaging our senses, and cultivating the kind of relationship that grows through time, presence, and practice.
A Note on Our Gatherings
Each Seasonal Immersion Day is shaped by the land, the plants, and the season we are moving through. The description above offers a sense of our seasonal themes rather than a fixed curriculum. Specific plants, harvesting opportunities, and medicine-making projects will vary with the conditions of the land and what is ready to be worked with that day.
All experience levels are welcome. Come with a willingness to learn, work with your hands, and enter into relationship with the plants and the living world around you.
