Light, Vitality & the Abundance of Summer
As we approach the Summer Solstice, the land is alive with growth, vitality, and possibility. This immersion invites us to celebrate the abundance of the season and explore the medicines, traditions, and practices that accompany the longest days of the year.
We will work with the plants coming into their fullness, gather seasonal herbs, create remedies, and explore the relationship with the medicine of the season. Woven throughout the day will be opportunities to slow down, observe, and experience the living traditions of herbalism through our senses, hands, and hearts.
A gathering to honor the gifts of the season, deepen our connection to the green world, and celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
A Note on Our Gatherings
Each Seasonal Immersion Day is shaped by the land, the plants, and the season we are moving through. The description above offers a sense of our seasonal themes rather than a fixed curriculum. Specific plants, harvesting opportunities, and medicine-making projects will vary with the conditions of the land and what is ready to be worked with that day.
All experience levels are welcome. Come with a willingness to learn, work with your hands, and enter into relationship with the plants and the living world around you.
