October - Seasonal Immersion Day

from $77.00

OCTOBER 2 OR 3, 2027 | ROOTS & REMEMBRANCE

Date to be confirmed by Winter 2027

Root Medicine: Ancestral Traditions & the Wisdom Beneath the Soil

As autumn deepens, the medicines of the season invite us toward the roots, the earth, and the traditions carried through generations. This is a time for gathering what remains, turning toward the wisdom beneath the surface, and preparing for the quieter months ahead.

We may explore autumn root medicines, harvesting and processing practices, and preparations suited to the colder seasons. Alongside our hands-on work, we will consider the folk traditions, stories, and ancestral relationships that have shaped the ways herbal knowledge has been carried and shared.

This gathering offers space to reflect on the lineage of our practices, the knowledge we inherit, and the responsibilities we hold as stewards of living traditions. We will share stories and traditions of practice around the upcoming threshold of Samhain, and ways to honor our lineage through the remedies we create.

A day of grounded practice, seasonal medicine making, and remembrance, honoring the plants, people, and places that continue to teach us.

A Note on Our Gatherings

Each Seasonal Immersion Day is shaped by the land, the plants, and the season we are moving through. The description above offers a sense of our seasonal themes rather than a fixed curriculum. Specific plants, harvesting opportunities, and medicine-making projects will vary with the conditions of the land and what is ready to be worked with that day.

All experience levels are welcome. Come with a willingness to learn, work with your hands, and enter into relationship with the plants and the living world around you.
