Equinox, Thresholds & Transitions
September carries the feeling of a liminal space. The abundance of summer begins to fade, seeds mature, energy is being called down into the earth, and the land reminds us that every season of growth is accompanied by a season of letting go.
Together, we will explore the medicines and teachings emerging at this turning point in the year. Our work may include late harvest medicines, plant identification, medicine making, and the practical considerations of gathering and processing remedies as the seasons change.
We will also make space to consider the parallels between the plant world and our own lives: what we are ready to gather, what we are being asked to preserve, and what might be ready to return to the earth.
A hands-on day of seasonal herbal practice, guided by the plants themselves and the wisdom of working in rhythm with the natural world.
A Note on Our Gatherings
Each Seasonal Immersion Day is shaped by the land, the plants, and the season we are moving through. The description above offers a sense of our seasonal themes rather than a fixed curriculum. Specific plants, harvesting opportunities, and medicine-making projects will vary with the conditions of the land and what is ready to be worked with that day.
All experience levels are welcome. Come with a willingness to learn, work with your hands, and enter into relationship with the plants and the living world around you.
